Why can't I sign in to the catalog using Apple's Safari browser?

We encrypt the traffic between your device and our catalog server using an SSL connection. Versions of Safari prior to version 7 cannot use this connection so either Safari will need to be updated to at least version 7 or an alternate browser like Chrome or Firefox must be installed in order to connect to the catalog.
