Also, you can now take the GED test from home while securely monitored by an online proctor. Here's what you need to know before scheduling your online test:

To be eligible to schedule an online test, you’ll need a “Green” score on the GED Ready practice test within the last 60 days. Log in to take GED Ready now.

You’ll need a computer with a webcam, audio and reliable internet to test from home. No tablets or phones. It’s important to run a system test ahead of time to be sure your computer is compatible.

You still have the option to test in-person at a test center. The best way to see if a test center is open is to look for available appointment times when you try scheduling a test in your GED account.
