If you have a Primary or Reciprocal card, your card will automatically renew 2 weeks before its expiration date as long as your account is in good standing and has been used within the past 6 months. If your account has already expired or will expire in less than 2 weeks and you would like to renew it, please contact us. If your address has changed, we will need to see some proof of address, such as a recent piece of mail, bill, ID, or something else similar, in order to renew your card.

If you have a School card, please email us at askalibrarian@metrolibrary.org with proof of current enrollment or employment in a school in our service area and we'll look into renewing your card.

If you have an Annual Fee card, the $70 charge should be added to your account several days before it expires. If the fee has not been added yet and you are ready to pay now, please contact us.
