How do I access eBooks/eAudiobooks on my computer?

 

You can find eBooks and eAudiobooks by searching our library catalog. If you want to check out an eBook or eAudiobook that you find in our catalog, click on Check Out Libby, Place Hold Libby, or Check Out Hoopla. Then, go to My Account, click on Checked Out Titles, and click Access Online

You can also go directly to the websites of our eBook collections. All of these books can be read or listened to online, but cannot be downloaded to your computer (except for EBSCO eBooks).

  • Libby (from Overdrive) is a large collection of fiction and nonfiction eBooks and eAudiobooks. You may need to place a hold on popular titles and wait for them to become available, just like physical books.
  • hoopla offers eBooks, eAudiobooks, comics, music, movies and TV shows. These titles are always available.
  • Odilo is a collection of eBooks in Spanish for all ages. These titles are always available.
  • Tumblebooks is a collection of eBooks for kids. These titles are always available.
  • EBSCO eBooks is a large collection of nonfiction and fiction eBooks for all ages. These titles are always available. They can be read in your browser or downloaded to your computer, for up to 21 days.
