How do I renew my annual fee card?

If you are ready to renew your card but the renewal fee has not yet been placed on your account, please contact us so we can write the fee to your account.

After the $70 renewal fee has been placed on your account:

On a mobile device:

  1. Visit metrolibrary.org and tap My Account at the top.
  2. Your Library Barcode is all the digits of your library card number. Your password/PIN is your last name. Tap Login.
    • If you have an ECARD number, enter that word along with the trailing digits with no spaces between them. For example: ecard1234567
    • If your card number has a lowercase letter "c" at the end, do not include it when you enter your card number.
  3. Tap on the head-and-shoulders icon  and select Fees / Lost Items from the drop-down menu. Any fines on your account will be displayed on this page, and you will also have the option to pay for them here.

A receipt of your payment will be emailed to you, and you can also choose to print the Payment Successful page.

NOTE: After paying your renewal fee, you must contact us so we can update the expiration date on your card.
