Hoopla says "Our lending policy does not allow you to register for hoopla" and won't let me register for an account. Why?

Hoopla will display this message if you attempt to register for hoopla with a "restricted" library account. If you are under the age of 17, you have a restricted account if your parent or guardian chose to prohibit your account from checking out R-rated movies. Since there is R-rated material accessible on hoopla, restricted accounts are not permitted to sign into hoopla at all. If a parent or sponsor wishes to remove a restriction on a student account, they can contact us for assistance.
