From the Amazon web page, you can prompt a title to be delivered to another device. To do this:

On a computer:

  1. Visit the Amazon website and sign in
  2. Click "Account & Lists" (to the right of the search bar at the top of the page)
  3. On the menu that appears, select "Content Library" (under "Your Account"). That should bring you to a page that says "Digital Content."
  4. On the card that says "Books," click "See [#] Title(s)"
  5. Locate the book in question on this list. If needed, you can sort the list by "Acquired: Newest to Oldest" to see your most recent checkouts first.
  6. On the far right side of the page across from the book title, select "Deliver or Remove from Device"
  7. Check the boxes next to the devices you wish to deliver the title to. You can also uncheck any boxes for devices you wish to remove the download from. Then click "Make Changes." The next time your device syncs, the book should load.
