You can update your physical address, phone number, and email address online BUT if you update your physical address online, you should provide proof of this updated address during your next library visit or you can electronically send us a copy of this updated information. To update your contact information online:

  1. Visit metrolibrary.org and click My Account at the top.
  2. In the window that pops up, enter all the digits of your library card number. Your password/PIN is your full last name.
    • If you have an ECARD number, enter that word along with the trailing digits with no spaces between them. For example: ecard1234567
    • If your card number has a lowercase letter "c" at the end, do not include it when you enter your card number.
  3. On the Account Summary page, click the Contact Information link at the left.
  4. Enter your updated information and click Save.

We don’t keep email addresses on record for OverDrive and the only time you need to enter one is when you’re placing a hold or modifying a hold. To see the address you’re currently using for your OverDrive holds (and to change it if necessary):

  1. Visit metrolibrary.overdrive.com and click on the 3 books icon near the top right of the screen.
  3. Click the Edit email button next to any of your holds to correct the email address to which the hold ready notification will be mailed.
