When are my checked out items due?

Items are due 3 weeks from the checkout date. You can find the due date for all the physical materials you have checked out (books, CDs, DVDs, etc, not eBooks or downloadable audiobooks) with the following directions:

  1. Visit catalog.metrolibrary.org and click Log In.
  2. In the window that pops up, enter all 8 digits of your library card number (if your card number has less than 8 digits, add enough zeros to the front of your number until it is 8 digits long) and your full last name (or sign in with your EZ Username and Password), and click Log In.
  3. The Account Summary page will display all of your checked out items and their due dates.

To see the due date for eBooks or downloadable audiobooks from OverDrive that you have checked out:

  1. Visit emedia.metrolibrary.org and click the Account icon at the top.
  2. Sign in with all 8 digits of your library card number (if your card number has less than 8 digits, add enough zeros to the front of your number until it is 8 digits long) and your full last name.
  3. Your Checkouts page will show how many days you have left for each title you have checked out. (You can change your default lending period on the Settings page.)

To see the due date for eBooks from EBSCO that you have checked out:

  1. Visit this page and if prompted, sign in with all 8 digits of your library card number (if your card number has less than 8 digits, add enough zeros to the front of your number until it is 8 digits long) and your full last name.
  2. Click Sign In at the top right and sign in with your MyEBSCOhost information
