How long will it take for my hold to be ready for pickup?

Unfortunately, we can't provide a time frame for when your hold will be ready for you because it depends on a number of factors like (but not limited to) the number of copies we own, the number of people ahead of you on the wait list, the length of time those with the title checked out keep the title, and whether the title is returned damaged. However, we will notify you when your hold is ready by email, text, and/or postal mail. To view and change your notification settings, sign into your library account and click on your name in the top right corner. Select Contact Information from the drop-down menu. You can add or edit your contact information and opt in or out of text and email notifications from this page.

If you are concerned that your holds might come in before you are ready to pick them up (for example, if you are going on vacation and think your holds might arrive before you get back), you can find instructions on how to freeze your holds here.
